The Science of Mindfulness

A contemplative study into the science and structures behind mindfulness and the principles of Buddhism.

This six-week, virtual course will show you why daily practice of meditation builds awareness and elevates your life. Through a survey of the history and true purpose of the mathematical theory behind Buddhism, you'll learn how to operate through the lens loving-kindness, compassion, sympathetic joy, and equanimity—and experience more moments of ease in life. All are invited and welcome to attend this course, no matter your previous experience; however, this course is BIPOC-centered.

  • Understand in practice the The Brahmavihārā

  • Learn the benefits of practicing mindfulness

  • Embark on your continuous mindfulness journey with a half-day silent retreat
